Google pack is free software delivered by the Google which includes much useful software. There are many software tools that serve the purpose of efficient browsing, quick access to various sites and many more. The “Google Earth” is one of the much different software launched by the Google for its user.

The Google earth is a very exciting tool for all those, “for anyone who has ever dreamt of flying”, as rightly stated by the New York Times. Yes, Google Earth is that tool, using which one acquires the power to virtually visit any place on this planet. With the help of the Google earth one can “take a virtual tour of the world” and also get local information and also the plan trips.

When should the deactivate feature be used?

During the installation of Google Earth and Google Earth Pro on a third machine, the deactivate feature can be used. Both of these subscriptions are meant for personal use only. Only two installations per user are possible for them. When ever you need to transfer the activation of your license from a machine to a third machine you can use the “deactivate” feature. This feature is available only in the latest versions of the Google Earth Plus and Google Earth Pro. This feature is present in the Help menu in the form of “Deactivate Google Earth X License”. The “X” is the version number of your Google Earth.

Here is video tutorial #3 for using Google Earth. This video teaches you everything you could ever want to know about creating overlays in Google Earth. You might notice that the sound is lower on this vid than the other ones. I don’t know why that is, so you may have to keep your ear by the speaker to hear it. But it’s worth it because it’s a great video.

As I’ve mentioned, this is one of a series of vids created by Richard Treves. I’d like to give him proper acknowledgment for his videos and the help they provide. You’ll love them, trust me.

This is the second posting I’m doing of a video tutorial on Google Earth. Richard Treves, who I think is aa staff member of the Geography department of Southampton University, has done several of these tutorials that I’ve known about for months. I found this video along with some others a couple months ago in a Google Earth search I had done. The creator’s name is Richard Treves, and he’s a star. His tutorials are wonderful, so I’m going to be posting them here for you.

The first one I’m posting is called “Earth Tips and Tricks” and will just give you a few good tips for using Google Earth and setting up properly for your own computer. I’ll post others of his vids as well.
