When should the deactivate feature be used?
During the installation of Google Earth and Google Earth Pro on a third machine, the deactivate feature can be used. Both of these subscriptions are meant for personal use only. Only two installations per user are possible for them. When ever you need to transfer the activation of your license from a machine to a third machine you can use the “deactivate” feature. This feature is available only in the latest versions of the Google Earth Plus and Google Earth Pro. This feature is present in the Help menu in the form of “Deactivate Google Earth X License”. The “X” is the version number of your Google Earth.
It has the following two options
“Deactivate this computer”, which deactivates the Google Earth Pro from only ht machine that you are using.
“Deactivate all computers”, which deactivates all the Google Earth Plus and Google Earth Pro which are currently active. This option is useful when you have long aces to the computer.
For using the license Key on a deactivated computer follow the following steps
(a) From the help menu go to the “Deactivate Google Earth….”
(b) Click the “Deactivate this computer.”
(c) Re-enter your login details.
How can we uninstall the Google earth on the Mac?
It does not need the use of an uninstaller. For this you just need to take the icon of Google Earth to the Trash. In addition to this for removing all the components of Google earth you can follow the following steps.
(a) Select the finder and from the options click the “Home Directory” icon that is labeled as your user ID.
(b) Then delete the files from the “Library”> “Caches”> “Google Earth”.
(c) Also delete the files from the “Library” > “Application Support”> “Google Earth”.
