The Google talk is one of the most popular internet communication systems, which is widely used by internet communities. This online messaging service enables users to collaborate and communicate effective while they are thousands kilometers away from each other. This instant communication service enables users to choose any service provider and choose any platform, whichever they like to use.

The communication protocol of goggle talk is XMPP protocol that is a standard to goggle talk. The goggle talk service is a free service available on the internet and it can be downloading from the internet. If you are a developer and you are using Google talk client version all you need to do is to connect to Google talk service which is hosted by Google’s website and available on the port 5222, it requires an TLS and it also requires and authentication mechanism which is also called SASL PLAIN.

Voice code specification: There are several voice code specification of Google talk is available some are – PCMA, PCMU, G-723, iLBC, and speex protocol it also support code specification from ISAC, IPCMWB, EG711A and EG711U etc.
Enabling service of Google talk: When you are using some messenger on the than Goggle talk it uses only their own communication protocol, biggest drawback of this messaging service is that they do not support interoperability means it is not possible to communicate with other service providers for the example phone or Gmail ,yahoo mail etc. Now with Google talk it is possible to collaborate and communicate effectively for this it uses a communication process called “federation” this will gives interoperability. The advantage of this service can be understand by the fact that users need not be signed in or sign out if one is interested to communicates with some other chat servers.
