Advanced Features of Google Toolbar
For each web browser the toolbar is an important tool. This tool stores your frequently visited pages and displays them when requested. As you know, Google desktop toolbar is used to search websites. You get important information when you search web pages. You need such information now and then. If you close site, the information will be lost and difficult to get again. Bookmark is a feature that helps you to find the information easily whenever you want. For example, you use bookmark when you read a book or notes so that you will get the page or information again. People like to share information online. By using Google toolbar you can share web pages through email or blog. You can also send text massages (SMS) on mobile phone. It saves time and avoids complicated methods. You can send whole page or some part of a page. Select the page or information you want to share and click on the ‘send to’ option. It is on the Google Toolbar. It is free facility.
Join to the World:
Many people like to write or collect personal information in homepage. Chatting, joining groups and other communities are the other parts that bring world closer. You can share your own views with others and read others views. Google desktop toolbar provides this facility through Google account. By using Google toolbar you can open your account in Gmail. There is setting button on the extreme right side of the Google toolbar. Click on the setting button and select ‘sign in’ (you will know next procedures) and join the world.
Name is the Address:
You want to visit an important site. You know the initial name of the site but do not know the exact address. You will be lost!! Do not worry. Google toolbar have detail address facility. Just type a name into browser address bar, and Google toolbar will take you there automatically. For example, you want to visit Cambridge University. You do not have address but know the name ‘Cambridge’. Just, type a word ‘Cambridge’ into address bar. The Google toolbar will display Cambridge University’s home page.
Bold Search Terms:
Sometimes you search information with the help of a specific word/term and you get it. Once you have used Google toolbar to search on line information, there is no need to find out your relevant term/word in the information. The highlight button makes the term/word bold or highlights it on the page. It is makes easy to search relevant information.
