Organize your collection
Picasa helps you to organize all pictures from your computer. It automatically sorts all pictures by date. To clean up unwanted folders from your computer and shuffle photos from on drive to another just drag and drop photos from one folder to another in Picasa and all changes will be permanent You can also rename the pictures. Create you your own Album using “Albums” collection. This will make viewing and sharing of photos easy and quick. With albums you can make great slideshows and movies. You can add Star rating to your personal favorite. Star search in Picasa will show only tour star rated photos in fraction of second. You can put same pictures into more than one album. You can password protect your album so your photo collection will remain private.
Edit your Photos
There is one tool called “Basic Fixes” with that you can crop photos, remove red eye also one can fix color and contrast to enhance digital photos. There are in all 12 new visual effects that can be added into your photos. You can add editable and searchable captions, and it is up to if you want to display the caption or not.
Share photos
You can share photos via e-mail or you can put them on your site. Picasa automatically resizes photos you just attach them to mail. Publish your favorite photographs on your own web page. Select photos you want to display on web page and select Publish and now they are ready to share with your friends or anyone you want. To use photos for presentation just click to make slide show. You can take photos on any device of your choice.
Backup of your digital memories
You can protect your digital memories by archiving it them on DVD or CD. Photos that are not yet saved are also displayed on Picasa. You can save photos in any folder of your computer or on device like flash drive. “Export” the photos edited in Picasa by just one click.
Picasa automatically resizes photos as per your home printer. Print photos in any size you want. You can also order prints from your photo developer.
